Recent reviews conducted by the Queensland Government have highlighted the opportunity to further enhance skills and capabilities in Emergency Management across the Fire and Land Management Agencies. EMERG specializes in this type of capacity building.
The EMERG team has a 3 year contract to provide QPWS with all firefighter related training from Basic Firefighter & Crew Leader through to senior Incident Management personnel. The tailored training courses and capability building provided by EMERG have been developed in consultation with QPWS senior training managers to ensure all content is contextualized and relevant. This includes the provision of Nationally Accredited Training.
